BC Launches – a Site Selection Tool and Industry Game Changer


“At a time when companies are seeking to operate even more efficiently, Bergen County has launched to assist corporate and independent site selectors and others looking for space,” Bergen County Executive James J. Tedesco III recently announced. “Site selection professionals and others can use as a way to easily examine best-place choices for corporate real estate and other facilities from the convenience of their keyboard.”

The site was designed with the help of industry insiders—among the kinds of people who are accessing the website—to be easily accessed and navigated, “and we packed with the kind of vital information that site selection and other professionals need to make informed choices,” he adds. “Companies and individuals can now connect with Bergen County more quickly than ever, thanks to this free-to-list and free-to-access, user-friendly one-stop site selection website that was recently launched by the Bergen County Division of Economic Development.”

“Acquiring this kind of critical demographic information used to be a long and expensive process,” said Freeholder Chairman Tom Sullivan. “It was often a prohibitive barrier and kept new small businesses from gaining entry to a community or growing an existing business. Now, will be a great resource for start-ups and small businesses alike. I believe it will be a useful tool in helping new businesses get off the ground, and assist existing businesses to expand to meet market demand.”
