Zoo 2014 Activities
The people at the Bergen County Zoo in Paramus are always coming up with new events and programs to get children and families interested in visiting their great park. These programs were designed as a fun way to educate kids of various ages on the zoo, its animals, and the environment. The next program being offered by the zoo is “Zoo Careers Week1” which is a week-long program that teaches teens jobs that are available in a zoo and what it takes to be employed at one. Starting in March the zoo is introducing “Toddler Tales2” where adults can bring children approximately 2 - 4 years old to listen to stories, see the animals, and do crafts. April will bring the annual “Bergen County Zoo SpEGGtacular Hunt3” and the “Party for Planet Earth Celebration4” for a unique way to spend a nice spring day. The Bergen County Zoo also offers different summer camps5 for children and teens ages 5-15 for more comprehensive experience. Read on for further information about each individual program and visit www.co.bergen.nj.us to learn more about the Bergen County Zoo and other services our county offers.
